According to IMDB, Paramount has set October 21, 2011 as the release date for Paranormal Activity 3. You can read the article here.

I just hope it doesn't follow SAW's footsteps and churn one out every year. As much as I like Paranormal Activity, they need to tie up loose ends and call it quits after the third one.

I'm thinking they're going to pursue another "prequel" storyline. I'm interested to see if they go further into the family history of the sisters & about their experiences as kids.
